Aqua Sharks Academy is based on the Atlantic Seaboard at the heated & enclosed 25m Green Point Virgin Active pool.

We introduce swimmers from age 7+ to the life of swimming in a “big pool” taking them through the different stages of age group development, club swimming & ultimately competitive swimming nationally & internationally.

Our focus is on doing the right thing at the right time and keeping swimmers interested and passionate about their swimming for long term participation through a combination of coaching methods & styles.

Britt co-owned and ran a Learn to Swim School for 16 years whilst dabbling in triathlon & swim coaching for adults. Britt enjoys practising what she preaches and competing alongside her swimmers & athletes in triathlon and open water swim events. Britt advocates long term participation especially amongst younger swimmers and believes that’s how she never lost her love for swimming & sport.

Convinced she could swim before she could walk, Mia has been swimming competitively since the age of five and has an inordinate love of the water, whether pool, lake or the sea. She regularly competes at various swimming events and is happiest when in the water! 

Mia worked as an adventure holiday swim guide for 12 years, living and working all over the Mediterranean and Americas, from Croatia to the Caribbean, and swimming in some of the world’s most beautiful places.

Mia has been coaching swimming for over 30 years to all ages and levels and has a passion for sharing her love of swimming with others.
